Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa
▾Our driver will pick you up from Hanoi’s Old Quarter or West Lake area between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. and bring you to Sapa.
You will be staying in a local homestay operated by an ethnic family here. We’ll have a great lunch at a local restaurant, and you’ll learn about some fantastic Sapa delicacies.
In the afternoon, you have free time to explore the town, visit the markets and small shops, and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings.
Day 2: Ban Ho Village - Thanh Phu Village - My Son Village - Hanoi
▾Enjoy a fresh morning in Sapa!
Following breakfast, we will ride our bikes to the idyllic Ban Ho Village along a peaceful route surrounded by rice fields.
Ban Ho has been gifted by nature with the magnificent beauty of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and the lyrical Muong Hoa stream. Here, you can encounter friendly Tay minority people in their lovely stilt houses and experience their daily lives of farming and fishing.
Leaving Ban Ho Village, we will bike to Thanh Phu Village. We’ll enjoy lunch amidst the stunning valley views.
In the afternoon, we’ll ride to My Son Village. This little town is home to Xa Pho, Vietnam’s smallest ethnic minority. People in Xa Pho are friendly and welcoming, always dressed in colorful clothing and smiling brightly.
After My Son, we’ll ride back to the homestay for dinner and to spend the night.
Day 3: Bac Ha Market - Trung Do Village - Sapa - Hanoi
▾Have a hearty breakfast before heading out for today’s adventure.
At 8:00 am, you will be transferred to Bac Ha Market, the biggest market in all of Lao Cai Province.
Every Sunday morning, Bac Ha welcomes a large number of ethnic people from all over the province, as well as tourists. Bac Ha Market is not only a place for trading goods but also a gathering spot for ethnic people to come together, connect, and have fun.
Entering the market, you will be amazed by the colorful booths of farming goods, traditional clothes, textiles, hand-made products, and cattle. Exploring Bac Ha Village is a great way to learn more about the culture and traditions of Sapa.
At noon, we will have lunch at a nearby house.
After lunch, you will enjoy a drive downhill to the village of Tay people, Trung Do. This pretty village will capture your heart with the lovely stilt houses and friendly people.
Finally, you will be transferred back to Sapa, where you get on the bus to return to Hanoi. Thank you for joining us on this journey!
