Day 1: Hanoi - Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - Trang An/ Tam Coc - Mua Caves

07:15 Transportation to Ninh Binh from the Hanoi Old Quarter.

9:00 On the way, take a quick 20-minute break.

10:15 Take a tour to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital.

Arrive at the Cozy Vietnam Restaurant. From here, we start a twenty-minute cycling journey to Hoa Lu, during which we can enjoy the stunning landscape and peaceful atmosphere of Ninh Binh.

Hoa Lu was the first Vietnamese capital, established by the Dinh and Le Dynasties in the 17th century. The tour guide will also explain the fascinating antique structures and relics from that era.

Choice 1: Experience the charming Tam Coc by boat for one and a half hours

Tam Coc Bich Dong is a magnificent cave system embraced by gorgeous limestone cliffs and rice fields. You will experience incredible tranquility on a boat ride along the Ngo Dong River.

Option 2: Visit Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Trang An is the most popular tourist spot in Ninh Binh. With its breathtaking views of the majestic mountains and gurgling river, Trang An was included in the 2016 blockbuster “Kong: Skull Island.”

16:00 Explore Hang Mua

The beautiful Hang Mua, or Mua Caves, cave system is located atop the magnificent Lying Dragon Mountain. From the summit of Hang Mua, you will be in awe of the stunning view of Tam Coc’s rice fields and river.

17:00 You will be driven to the hotel or bungalow in the minivan.

Day 2: Ninh Binh - Halong Bay - Sung Sot Cave - Ti Top Island - Hanoi

From the lovely sandy beach to the limestone mountain hugging the blue water, Ti Top Island is the ultimate spot for relaxation in Halong Bay. In addition, you can climb up Titop Peak for a wonderful photo backdrop of the bay panorama.
