Mua Caves is situated in the Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourism region, a central part of the Trang An Scenic Complex. Legend has it that when King Tran Thai Tong returned to the ancient capital of Ninh Binh, he frequented Mua Caves to watch imperial maids perform arts and dance, hence the name of the place (Mua translates to “dancing”).
