Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Giang - Quan Ba (L/D)

06:00 Pick up from your stay in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to Ha Giang.

12:30 Arrive in Ha Giang

Visit a local homestay, where our tour guide will briefly introduce the Ha Giang Loop, today’s activities, and safety regulations. You will select your bike and receive protection gear.

Leaving the homestay, we get on the road to Quan Ba, the first gate of Ha Giang Loop. Enjoy the incredible scenery of Ha Giang as we speed up on Bac Sum Pass, heading to Heaven’s Gate.

As the first part of the Happiness Road on Ha Giang Loop, Quan Ba ​​Heaven’s Gate is a famous check-in location on Ha Giang tours. This place attracts visitors with its winding roads through the lush green mountains, down to the beautiful Quan Ba ​​valley with gentle hills and charming houses.

Here, we will stop for a delicious lunch at Tam Son Town. Indulge yourself in delectable Ha Giang cuisines before returning to the road.

18:30 Stop at Nam Dam Village

After a long afternoon of biking, we will stop at Nam Dam Village, a small charming spot in Quan Ba. The wild natural landscape and unique traditions of the friendly Dao people are the appeals of this village.

Here, we will check in to a local guesthouse and relax before dinner. You will enjoy a home-cooked meal with delicious Ha Giang specialties.

Following dinner is a time to get together and have fun. We will play traditional games, listen to local music, and enjoy Ha Giang’s happy water.

Day 2: Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass (B/L/D)

After checking out of the homestay, we will have a quick breakfast nearby and get on the road.

Today’s adventure starts with a long scenic trip through the Dong Van Karst Plateau, an icon of Ha Giang. The magnificent site of the grey stones with weird shapes under the tall mountain peaks will leave you with an unforgettable impression.

Along the tour, we will quickly stop at Tham Ma Pass Viewpoint. You can take wonderful pictures of Ha Giang Loop’s winding road and beautiful landscape.

Arriving in Dong Van, we will visit the bordering villages of the H’mong people and the H’mong King Palace. These destinations attract tourists with the serene, peaceful atmosphere and incredible nature.

Next on this Ha Giang Loop tour is Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most beautiful mountain passes. This part of the Happiness Road impresses with the epic view of striking mountains on one side and deep canyons on the other, creating an exhilarating experience.

Day 3: Ma Pi Leng Pass - Mau Due - Yen Minh - Ha Giang - Hanoi (B/L)

After checking out of the homestay, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast amidst the fresh air of Meo Vac’s mountains.

Our excursion on Ha Giang Loop will conclude with a boat ride down the Nho Que River. This is a well-known river tourists seek out on Ha Giang tours, with the enchanting beauty of emerald green water running gently between two gorgeous mountains.

We leave the guesthouse and head to Quan Ba, the first gate on the Ha Giang Loop. Enjoy the breathtaking view of Ha Giang as we travel up Bac Sum Pass towards Heaven’s Gate.

Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, located at the start of the Happiness Road on the Ha Giang Loop, is a popular stop for Ha Giang tour groups. Visitors are drawn to this location for its meandering roads through lush green mountains, leading to the picturesque Quan Ba valley with gentle slopes and pretty houses.

Day 2: Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass (B/L/D)

After checking out the guesthouse, we’ll grab a quick breakfast and hit the road.

Today’s expedition begins with a magnificent journey via the Dong Van Karst Plateau, a Ha Giang landmark. The breathtaking sight of gray stones with strange forms beneath the great mountain peaks will leave you with an indelible memory.

On the excursion, we will briefly stop at Tham Ma Pass Viewpoint. The winding route and breathtaking scenery of the Ha Giang Loop make for excellent photographic opportunities.

After reaching Dong Van, we will see the Hmong King Palace and the nearby Hmong villages. Ha Giang tourists are drawn to these locations by the amazing scenery and tranquil environment.

Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most stunning mountain crossings, is the next Ha Giang Loop tour stop. This section of the Happiness Road is breathtaking, with towering mountains on one side and deep canyons on the other, making for a fantastic journey.

Day 3 (4 Days): Ma Pi Leng Pass - Boat Tour - Du Gia (B/L/D)

After checking out of the guesthouse, we’ll have a fantastic breakfast in the fresh air of Meo Vac’s highlands.

Our Ha Giang Loop adventure will continue today with a boat ride along the Nho Que River. This is a well-known river beloved by visitors on Ha Giang tours, with emerald green water flowing gently between two beautiful mountains. Here, you can admire the fantastic view of Tu San Canyon, one of the three deepest canyons in Asia.

After visiting the Nho Que River, we’ll head back to Ma Pi Leng Pass to get to Du Gia. On the way, you can take in the breathtaking beauty of the M-shaped pass across the mountain ranges.

We will stop at Lung Ho Commune Viewpoint, where you can admire the poetic natural scenery of small villages nestled among green mountains and lush green fields.

Our final destination is Du Gia, a small commune in Yen Minh District. Known for its wild and magnificent natural scenery of mountains, rivers, clouds, and the sky, Du Gia enchants visitors with its fairytale-like glory.

We will spend the night at a little guesthouse and relax before dinner. You will have a home-cooked meal with exquisite Ha Giang delicacies.

Day 4: Du Gia - Quan Ba - Ha Giang (B/L)

Enjoy a Ha Giang signature breakfast amidst the incredible view of green rice fields and morning clouds. 

In the morning, you can freely explore Du Gia villages, enjoy nature, meet wonderful ethnic people, and visit Du Gia waterfall.

Next on the tour, we will travel to Lung Tam Village in Quan Ba.

This is a traditional weaving village in Ha Giang, nestled under the misty mountains. Here, the linen weaving culture of the Mong people is preserved and passed down from generation to generation. Visiting Lung Tam village, visitors can learn more about the indigenous culture and experience the fascinating weaving process.

At around 4 pm, we will end the weaving village tour, return to Ha Giang City, and from there back to Hanoi.
