Few people are aware that Lan Ha Bay has two Frog Lagoons: the first is a small swamp in Cat Ba National Park (on Cat Ba Island) that is home to some local frog species; the second is a serene area outside Lan Ha Bay that is encircled by rocky mountains and resembles a lovely pond with a rock that, as the name suggests, is shaped like a frog sitting and waiting for tourists.
