This 2-day trekking excursion will take you around several lesser-known Sapa villages with wild natural beauty and colorful traditions, promising a wonderful experience in the highland.

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa - Lech Village

At 7:00 am, our driver and guide will pick you up from the Old Quarter or West Lake in Hanoi and transfer you to Sapa.

Here, you will check in to a local homestay owned by an ethnic family. We will have a delicious lunch at a restaurant nearby, where you will be introduced to some amazing Sapa specialties.

A meal with Vietnamese dishes. — Enjoy a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon, we start our trekking adventure through the quiet road around the terraced fields in local villages. The peaceful scenery surrounding will make you fall in love quickly with this highland.

We will then take a slight ascent to visit Lech Village, a lovely home for the Red Dao ethnic group. Here, you can visit a local house, meet the friendly Red Dao residents, and learn about their daily life. You can also participate in mundane but fun experiences, like planting/ harvesting rice or making traditional textiles.

After the trek, we head back to the homestay. You have the option to try a traditional Red Dao herbal bath to relax after a long day of walking.

Dinner is served at the homestay with tasty home-cooked dishes, after which is free time for you to explore the area, or just stay in and relax amidst the serene atmosphere of Sapa mountains.

Day 2: Hoang Lien National Park - Sin Chai Village - Nam Cang Village

Today’s adventure is all about the remote villages of Sapa.

After an early breakfast, we will start the excursion with a transfer deeper into the forests of Hoang Lien National Park. We will stop at the trekking point near Sin Chai Village and start from there.

Following the trail, our tour guide will lead you to explore the lesser-known areas of Sapa. Enjoy the grand view of high mountains, evergreen forests, and rumbling waterfalls surrounding you.

The trail will soon lead you to Nam Nhiu Village of Red Dao people, where you will meet lovely residents in their small houses.

Leaving the village, we turn to a dirt trail through the highland of Sapa and soon will be met with a marvelous view of golden rice terraces extending far to the mountains. On the way, you will be greeted by the smiling faces of farmers working hard in the fields and the happy expressions of small children playing around. The simple yet so beautiful life in Sapa villages can genuinely move you.

Our final stop will be Nam Cang Village, one of the most remote areas in Sapa. Here, you will be in awe of the harmonious beauty of nature and people.

Immerse yourself in the serene ambiance here while heading to a local restaurant for lunch. We will have delicious Sapa dishes that will fill you with energy for the rest of the trip.

After lunch, you can freely explore around Nam Cang Village. You can take a herbal bath, wander around the town, or join local shops to make writing paper, jewelry, or embroidery.

Around 2:00 pm, we will wrap up and return to the town for a bus ride back to Hanoi. Thank you for joining us on this wonderful trip!

During the tour, you may be followed by ethnic women who are eager to sell their handcrafted items. They may follow you throughout your journey. If you are not interested in purchasing, just decline nicely. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.
As described in the program, you will visit a local house and interact with local people. However, during the seasonal days, they may not be at home but work in the fields, so this experience may be lacking.
