A Glimpse of Ha Giang: 2 Days 1 Night Trekking Tour

06:00 Pick up from your stay in Hanoi and depart for Ha Giang by bus.

We will have a short break to relax and take pictures of the fantastic scenery on the way.

12:30 Arrive in Ha Giang

Have a lovely lunch with a local Tay family, with all the homemade traditional dishes of Vietnam.

After lunch, we will begin our first trekking trip through the rice terraces – an icon of Ha Giang land.

14:00 Visiting local village

We will explore the ancient Thon Tha Village of the Tay people.

In this lovely village, immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of golden rice fields surrounding small stilt houses in the cool weather of Ha Giang. You will meet friendly Tay people and chat with them about their daily lives in this highland region.

19:00 Overnight at a homestay in Thon Tha Village

Have dinner with amazing local specialties made by the Tay family, then overnight at their homestay. Although this place only provides essential comfort, you will still have an unforgettable experience.

08:00 A new day begins

After a hearty breakfast, our trekking adventure begins. 

From the green valley of Thon Tha, we will go up the mountain to Khuoi My Village. This trekking trail is not easy, but the view we get to admire on the way is worth it. The peaceful houses nestled between the rice fields, all leading up to the grand mountains of Ha Giang, standing still among the blue sky.

Reaching Khuoi My, you will be greeted with a serene picture of unspoiled nature harmonizing with the traditional life of the locals under the palm roofs. Khuoi My Village is home to Dao and Tay ethnic groups, so you have the chance to learn more about their culture.

12:00 Stop for a picnic lunch amidst the rice terraces

13:00 Continue trekking

We continue our adventure through the charming bamboo forests of Khuoi My, let the vast nature open up before our eyes, and sweep away all the tiredness.

Enjoy your time in this lovely Ha Giang village before heading back to the car.

15:30 From Khuoi My, we will take you back to Hanoi with some breaks on the way.
