Day 1: Ha Giang - Meo Vac - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Dong Van, 10 km trekking
▾Morning:
Your Ha Giang adventure will start early at 7:30 am, as our tour guide picks you up from your stay in Ha Giang City.
On our drive to Dong Van, we pass by Quan Ba. This beautiful district of Ha Giang is well known for its breathtaking mountain and valley landscape. You can take photos with the stunning Twin Mountains and Fairy Hills in Quan Ba.
At noon, we will stop at Mau Due, a small commune with the harmonious beauty of winding roads through the charming valleys. We will have lunch at a local restaurant in the area.
Afternoon:
Return to the road to get to Meo Vac. This is the beginning of our trekking adventure. We will have a 10-kilometer hike through Ma Pi Leng Pass, the most famous mountain pass in Ha Giang.
Along this rocky trail, you will be amazed by the breathtaking beauty of Ha Giang, with the grand mountain ranges overlooking the charming Nho Que River, like an emerald-green silk winding through the valleys. It is an incredible experience you will never forget!
When you arrive in Dong Van, you will have dinner in a nearby restaurant and settle in a local hotel.
Day 2: Dong Van - Yen Minh - Ha Giang
▾After breakfast, you will have time to explore Dong Van Ancient Town.
If you happen to be in Dong Van on a Sunday morning, don’t forget to check out the traditional market. You can witness a vibrant picture of local minorities shopping and selling all kinds of specialties, spices, beautiful textiles, and ethnic clothing. It is a great chance to buy gifts for your loved ones.
Back to the loop, we make our way through the lesser-known area of Ma Le – a small charming town tucked away in the valley of Dong Van. From here, you can travel to Lung Cu – the northernmost point of Vietnam, but we will turn to the H’mong Kinh Palace.
This unique destination attracts tourists with its beautiful architecture influenced by Chinese, French, and H’mong traditional styles, along with fascinating stories of the king who stayed here.
The tour continues to Yen Minh, a place well-known for its peaceful and serene ambiance of terraced rice fields and green pine tree forests. In Yen Minh, you can stop to take stunning photos against the stunning backdrop of Ha Giang nature.
At noon, we will stop at Quan Ba for a delicious lunch with local cuisine.
Then, we will return to Ha Giang City. Your Ha Giang trekking tour ends here.
