Ninh Binh Full-day Tour: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – Tam Coc (Cycling Included)

07:15 Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer you to Ninh Binh.

09:00 Have a short break for 20 minutes on the way.

10:15 Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital

Arrive at Cozy Vietnam Restaurant. We begin our twenty-minute ride through the breathtaking Ninh Binh countryside to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, where we park and have a look around.

Hoa Lu was Vietnam’s first capital, established in the 17th century by the Dinh and Le Dynasties. You’ll be astonished by the spectacular architecture and displays while learning about Vietnam’s history throughout thousands of years.

(If you don’t want to ride a bike, we will transport you to Hoa Lu via bus, where you will meet other visitors.)

11:30 Cycling Tour

Continue the bicycle ride around the village for another 30 minutes to appreciate the beautiful scenery and learn about the residents’ lifestyle.

12:00 Lunchtime!

Have lunch at Cozy Vietnam Restaurant, a five-star place with lovely decor. Enjoy great cuisine while seeing Ninh Binh’s gorgeous mountain and river scenery.

In the second-floor dining room, we provide a luxurious set menu, while on the third level, we serve a buffet-style lunch with local cuisine.

13:00 Afternoon Activity.

Option 1: Go on a 1.5-hour boat ride at Tam Coc Bich Dong, famously known as “Halong Bay on land.”

During the boat journey, you will be amazed by the beautiful golden rice fields, limestone mountains around the river, and the spectacular cave system.

Option 2: Visit Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You can explore Trang An’s breathtaking scenery on a bamboo boat for two hours. This includes a breathtaking cave system that was featured in the 2016 film “Kong: Skull Island.”

16:00 Get on the bus and return to Hanoi.

18:00 Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be dropped off. Thank you for traversing with us!
