Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai – Sapa – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai
▾Get up early to get ready for your journey from Hanoi to Sapa. You will be picked up and driven to the heart of Sapa Town by our driver and tour guide.
You will have a lovely lunch at a nearby restaurant that serves outstanding traditional meals.
Following lunch, we begin our trekking excursion via Ta Van Village’s breathtaking rice terraces. Immerse yourself in the serene sight of friendly farmers working and children playing around – the mundane daily activities suddenly look so lovely.
We will settle in the homestay and unwind as we reach Giang Ta Chai Village.
In the evening, the homestay’s charming host will throw a welcome party where you will learn about the fantastic Sapa culture, including their mouthwatering food, kind hospitality, and lively music.
Enjoy a filling dinner and a fun evening before relaxing for the night.
Day 2: Giang Ta Chai – Sapa – Cat Cat Village – Sapa
▾Welcome a great day in the charming Giang Ta Chai Village, with its little houses tucked beneath Sapa’s mountains. You’ll be treated to a scrumptious home-cooked breakfast at the homestay.
Say goodbye to the welcoming host family as we return to Sapa Town.
We start the day by visiting Cat Cat Village, a well-known Sapa tourist attraction. Tourists are drawn to Cat Cat by its distinctive Black Hmong culture, which includes various fascinating traditional activities.
From Cat Cat Village, we will go farther into the Sapa highlands and stop at the famous Silver Waterfall. This magnificent waterfall cascades down from the summit of Ham Rong Mountain like silver silk falling from the sky.
Leaving Silver Waterfall, we return to Sapa Town for lunch.
You can freely explore Sapa Town for the remainder of the day. Visit traditional marketplaces to try delicious Sapa dishes or purchase exquisitely handcrafted gifts for loved ones. Additionally, you can hire a bike or scooter and embark on an adventure through the beautiful rice fields and valley. Lastly, you can take a traditional Red Dao herbal bath for relaxation.
Explore the busy town at night after checking in at the Sapa Hotel.
Day 3: Sapa – Ham Rong Mountain – Hanoi
▾Have a hearty breakfast at the homestay. Then, we’ll head straight to Ham Rong Mountain.
Located in the middle of Sapa Town, Ham Rong Mountain is an incredible destination beloved by locals and tourists. This mountain comprises many natural stone blocks, forming a shape like a dragon’s head.
From the top of the mountain, you can admire the panoramic view of the colorful roofs of Sapa town, immersed in a sea of fog. This unique scenery is definitely why tourists fall in love with Sapa.
In addition to climbing the mountain, you can stroll through the flower gardens of Ham Rong. There is a large variety of beautiful flowers, promising you the greatest check-in photos.
We will have a picnic lunch right at Ham Rong Flower Garden before getting on the bus back to Lao Cai station. Here, we will have a sumptuous dinner at a local restaurant.
You will have time to rest and enjoy the memories you just had in Sapa before taking the night train back to Hanoi.
